Literally had a discussion last night about how women are portrayed as miserable if they don’t have a man. They teach you at a very young age how you’re supposed to be and do a, b, c, &d to get and keep a man. And that something is wrong with you if you don’t have a man. We need to start teaching our children that being a single woman is not the end of the world. It would stop a lot of insecurities.
This is exactly why I made a post saying , marriage isn’t an accomplishment. Marriage is everyday happiness, of course anyone can get married but having to deal with that persons ups and down? How many people you think can actually achieve that? Stop teaching girls to aspire to marriage but to happiness.
